In August 2019, the largest forest fire disaster occurs in Chiquitania, paralyzing activities, particularly tourism. Later the political conflicts arose and in 2020 in the full recovery stage, the global crisis with the COVID 19 pandemic manifests.

As part of the celebration of Bolivian Women’s Day, the Gender Department with the support of the Network of Institutions organized different activities celebrating the women of Joses.
The week began with the screening of the film “In the Land of Men”, with the presence of professional wrestler Jennifer Salinas, who reminded women of their ability to fight for their dreams and achieve what they want in life.
